Help Families of Gun Violence Victims March in Washington

Bring the faces behind the statistics to Capitol Hill — April 21, 2025

Their children are in a magazine that should never have had to exist.
The 30 Under 30 special edition magazine — honors 30 young people killed by gun violence before reaching their 30th birthday. Not for their achievements. For their stolen futures.

Each profile was written in collaboration with their families. Each story captures not just what was lost, but who these young people were — their dreams, their humor, their love, the futures that were taken from them.

Now, those same families are coming to Washington D.C.

On April 21st, on the U.S. Capitol steps, these families will stand together at a press conference alongside members of Congress — carrying their children’s stories directly to the people with the power to act.

They will walk the halls of the House of Representatives. They will hand lawmakers the magazine. They will say, face to face: these were our children. Do something.

But getting there isn’t easy.

For families still carrying the weight of unimaginable grief, the cost of flights, hotels, and travel to D.C. is a real barrier. We don’t want a single family to miss this moment because of money.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward:

  • ✈️ Travel (flights or driving costs) for families
  • Hotel accommodations in the D.C. area
  • Local transportation to and from the Capitol
  • Campaign materials to bring into Congressional offices
Read Their Stories here Gun violence is the #1 cause of death for children in the United States. An average of 3.4 children were killed every single day in 2025. Since Columbine, more than 383,000 students have experienced gun violence at school.

These families know those numbers aren’t abstract. They are those numbers.

Help them make sure Congress knows it too.

Donate today and help these families take their children’s stories to Capitol Hill.
